Right …the 2nd batch of tickets will be released over on Eventbrite on Sunday

Although admission is free, we are using a ticket system so that people can ensure their admission at what we imagine will be a sold out event.

• Your ticket only guarantees you admission if you arrive by 7:30 pm (doors open at 7 pm). At 7:30 pm, we will begin to let people in at the door and your ticket will no longer guarantee you anything.

93 Feet East has quite a big capacity, so if you don’t manage to snap up any of this batch of tickets, don’t despair because we will be releasing one more batch on Tuesday 1st November 2011 at 1230. Tickets are limited so please, only take one if you are able to attend. If something happens and your plans change, let us know so that we can free your ticket up for someone who can use it.

Tickets are limited so please only take one if you are able to attend. Previous events have shown ticket holders not informing us they would be unable to make it. This meant that people on the waitlist were unable to have a chance of attending in their place.Therefore if you are unable to attend please inform us as soon as possible via tickets@ignitelondon.net so we can redistribute the ticket to someone able to use it.

All the talks at Ignite London 3 on 28 September 2010 were captured on video by our very own Richard, and having been edited, jigged and poked are now available to view.

You can access them all via this site’s videos link or directly via the Vimeo channel .  They can be viewed on mobile devices, so you can relive the night’s action on a train or bus and bemuse your fellow commuters whilst chuckling to yourself trying to divide 23,792 by 27 or marveling at one man’s epic mission to count all his sneezes.

Hopefully you’ll find inspiration for a talk you can make at our next event during Global Ignite Week 7-11 February 2011.

There’s also a number of great photos from the last event (and the previous two) at the Ignite London Flickr pool.  If any attendees had cameras on the night and took some snaps it would be fantastic to see them added.

Andy says: I’m afraid that the sound is a bit quiet on this video, but it is an excellent example of a slightly different approach to Ignite slides. The subject matter is on a professional and fairly serious topic, but his hand drawn, stick men type cartoons, add a lot of additional message to support his point, and a bit of humour as well. Enjoy!

Claire says: This is my favourite ignite talk ever. Ignite london #1 was filled with so many amazing talks, but this one holds fast in my memory. “are we ready to do art!? yeh! woo” hell yes. It constantly inspires me to find out new slighly bizare but interesting things about art and culture.

As Matt Edgar highlights in this fascinating talk from Ignite London 1, the collision of a number of people in that very short space of time heralded important innovations in technology and thought.  A classic example of how Ignite can help you discover the overlooked. And as good as Matt looks in his, if you are thinking of speaking at Ignite London 3, you don’t have to wear a waistcoat.

Claire says: this is brilliant, he loves the subject, as do I, digital image processing of manuscripts is amazing and he presents the process really well. He manages to fit ten years work into 5 minutes! Engaging the viewer in a world of mathematics, conservation and academia with ease, making it palatable and most importantly really interesting and exciting.  (beware there is some swearing in the first 20seconds)

Claire says: the title, for one, is brilliant, secondly the presenter, Stacy Holmstedt, is wearing a fabulous dress. But mostly I really like her slides, I like the fact that she has taken the comic book concept and ran with it. Plus you learn some pretty cool stuff from it. Who knew the same guy invented Wonder Woman and the blood pressure monitor!?
