Ignite London 4 Assisting Sponsor – Flip

Author: | Filed under: Announcement, Ignite London, Sponsor | Tags: , , , , | 1 Comment »

Flip

With great pleasure we are happy to announce Flip as our Ignite London 4 Assisting Sponsor. Cisco’s Flip has lent us a couple of their brand new 3rd generation UltraHD video cameras, meaning our #igniteLDN4 videos will feature multiple camera angles. So for those wanting to relive memories from the night or who were unable to attend, now you’ll also be able to see the reaction from the audience too.

Since the debut of Flip video cameras in 2007, they have changed the way the world captures and shares video, whether recording family occasions, eyewitness reports or gigs. Notably all of our Ignite London events have been recorded on a Flip UltraHD by Richard, so it’s great to have Flip on board with us.

Simplistic in its nature, the 3rd generation of UltraHD and MinoHD models offer slim devices, with 720p resolution at 60 frames per second, all at an affordable price. New features include hardware based image stabilisation and the FlipPort connector, allowing accessories such as wireless microphones, battery extenders and pocket projectors to be plugged in.

If you see the red light then give us a wave!

With great pleasure we are happy to announce FatDUX:
Wall Of Tweets as our first Ignite London 4 Promotional Friend. FatDUX have produced a brand new twitter wall to feature your lovely #igniteLDN4 tweets on the night.

Wall Of TweetsFatDUX is headquartered in Copenhagen, with their Wall Of Tweets solution produced by their Zagreb group. This further shows the outreach for Ignite London as part of Global Ignite Week 2011. We believe you will agree that Wall Of Tweets produce the most beautiful and engaging displays for events; with impressive references from Microsoft, TEDx, Macworld, the 41st World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland and most recently the European Union Council.

Improvements to their 2.0 version include showing your event photos on the wall, big bold avatars and digital signage to name a few. It will incorporate the previously implemented display of the most active tweeps, schedules, timetables and videos. All of course made in Microsoft Silverlight.

We hope this will encourage interaction with you our wonderful audience and garner a few laughs!
